Start your Monday with the conversation that creates momentum.

Today’s idea

Monday mornings can go one of two ways. You either start with intention and momentum, or you slide into the week reacting to everybody else’s priorities. The difference is almost always the first meaningful conversation you choose to have.

When your business feels heavy, it’s rarely because you’re not “doing enough.” It’s usually because you’re avoiding the conversations that actually create opportunity — the follow-up, the tough call, the honest check-in.

A simple reset for Mondays:

  • 1. Identify the one person you’ve been meaning to call, text, or follow up with.
  • 2. Reach out to them first — before email, social media, or busy work.
  • 3. Make the conversation about them, not you.

That one intentional conversation will do more for your pipeline and your mindset than an hour of rearranging your to-do list. Momentum doesn’t come from motion for the sake of motion — it comes from meaningful contact with real people.

Like Cody Gibson always reminds us, real estate is a contact sport. If you want more momentum, increase the number of honest, human conversations you’re having — especially at the start of the week.

If you need help identifying the top five people you should talk to this week, book a call and I’ll help you map it out so you’re not guessing.
