Most agents lose their year between Thanksgiving and New Year.
Most agents quietly lose their next year between Thanksgiving and New Year… not in January. The holidays hit, routines fall apart, and the story becomes, “I’ll get serious after the first of the year.” By the time January shows up, the momentum is gone and the calendar is empty.
The agents who win next year are the ones who stay intentional now. Not by grinding 24/7 or pretending the holidays don’t exist — but by putting a simple structure in place and honoring it.
Here are three questions to sit with as you move through the holidays:
-
1. What do I want the next 30 days to look like in my business?
Not in theory — in reality. Listings taken, appointments set, conversations had. A clear picture beats a vague wish every time. -
2. What 3–5 non-negotiable actions am I willing to commit to every week?
Think simple: conversations, follow-ups, handwritten notes, social touches, database nurture. Pick a few levers that actually move the needle and commit to them. -
3. Who is going to know my plan and hold me accountable to it?
Discipline gets a lot easier when it’s not private. Tell your coach, your leader, or another agent what you’ve committed to — and ask them to check in.
If your business feels chaotic or inconsistent this time of year, it’s usually not a motivation problem — it’s a structure problem. These three questions give you a framework to reset your systems, get clear on your next steps, and walk into 2026 with real momentum instead of regret.
You don’t have to “crush it” through the holidays. You just have to stay intentional — a few smart decisions, a few non-negotiable actions, and someone in your world who knows the standard you’ve set.
